One of the historical wine of the winery and, probrably, one of the most representative red wines. The best grapes of the clone Aglianico Taurasi, after an accurate selection, are fermented in steel tanks with local yeasts, the maceration with the rinds go on for several days by the and to the fermentation, for giving the right contribution to the polyphenols. In that way the wine assumes the right characteristics for a long refinement. The part of wine which is part of Camporoccio matures for about 8 months in oaks barrels of second and third trasnfer. A well-balanced wine which manteins intact all the vineyard characteristics, goes well with red meat dishes and cold cut. Production area: Galluccio (Ce), on the slope of the extinguished volcano of Roccamonfina. Nature of the ground: volcanic ground with a good concentration of mineral salts and micro elements. Number of the bottles produced: 6000. Media age of the vines: 20 years. Stupms for hectare: 2200/4000. Vine variety ages: 1995. Vine training: Guyot. Production for hectare: 60 ha. Harvest: by hand in box of 15 kg. Grape hervest: half of October. Vinification: in steel at temperature controlled with selected yeasts. From the vineyards located on the slapes of the exstinguished volcano of Roccamonfina we harvest the grapes that produce this harmonious wine. The accurate selection of the bunchs, followed by a fermentation at low temperatures and a refinement in steel for a medium to long term permits to preserve the varietal characteristics respecting the vive variety. Fresh and fruity, this aglianico, accompanied all the Italian dishes: first meat dishes, cold cut and semihard cheeses. Production area: Galluccio (Ce), on the slope of the extinguished volcano of Roccamonfina. Nature of the ground: volcanic ground with a good concentration of mineral salts and micro elements. Starting from the delicate pressing of the grapes, to the vinification in steel kegs at temperature controlled, all the cellar operations allow to preserve all the characteristics of the vine variety . This wine comes from the assembly of the grapes coming from all the IGP vineyards of the winery. In this way all the different characteristics due to the plots composition and to the exposition confer the right amount of aromatic components, structure and freshness. Falanghina IGP is an easy-drinking wine which accompanies all the dishes of our cooking based on fish, vegetables, and white meats, excellent as an aperifif. The main feature is its strong acidity which makes it fresh, leaving , as a result, an optimum aftertaste of white fruit and a good minerality. VINEYARD LOCATION - Cormons, in a zone called just “Fisc”. TYPE OF SOIL - Marl and sandstone. EXPOSURE - South. TASTING NOTES - It is a valuable wine, very dense and full-bodied, as obtained from a little yield by each vine. Straw yellow colour with golden tints. The bouquet is fine, subtle and full with apple, pear and wild flowers fragrances. It tastes warm, rich and fascinating but balanced by a good acidity which provides the right level of freshness. The almond flavour of the aftertaste is typical for Tocai vine species. HARVEST - At the end of September. Harvest hand made. VINIFICATION - It undergoes 24-hours maceration at a controlled temperature before soft pressing process. The must is fermented in Slavonia oak barrels. Maturation is completed in the same barrels for 6 months. Refining method: in bottles, 6 / 8 months long. NOTES - These vineyards are young, providing a density of 7.500 vines per ha. The vine-growing system is Guyot. The vine shoots being used in here are the result of spreading the vegetative material of Tocai vines which are about 100 years old. Two of these are still growing in this vineyard. The type of soil, exposure and location are definitely favourable for winegrowing, which is a well-known fact since the 18th century. TO BE SERVED AT: 12 / 14°C.

Good combination seafood hors d’oeuvres, and first courses with fried fish as well. Particularly palatable in the summer for its excellent good-to-drink features. AGEING - A small part in oak barrels, the rest in steel tanks. NOTES - Plessiva vineyard dates about 25 years back.
