Temper: This Fleurie La Madone is the fruit each year of the same plots of vines. They were chosen for their aspect and their representativeness in the heart of the Fleurie named vineyards. These sites are predestined to give great wine. History: Posed on the summit of a hill entirely planted with Gamay vines, the Chapelle de la Madone seems to watch over the vineyards of Fleurie the “Climat” of La Madone is one of the most renowned in AOC Fleurie. Terroir: The subsoil is made up of granitic arena. Winemaking & Maturing: The vinification method used is called “Beaujolais Vinification” and includes semi-carbonic maceration. It iscarried out under immediate and permanent temperature control and can vary from 9 to 15 days. Maturing in stainless steel vats for around 8 months. Tasting: Dark ruby robe. The attack on the palate is intense and forthright with notes of ripe cherry and red fruit. The finish is delightfully round and supple with good concentration. Tasting Notes: A beautiful ruby red. Aromas of red fruits, with notes of cinnamon. The generous mouth offers a full bodied and fresh finish. Match with food: Ideal companion to grilled or white meats, soft and hard cheeses, Faithful to the friendly image of the Côtes du Rhône, this wine can be shared in any event: a simple picnic between friends or a sophisticated cooking. Soil: Geographically and culturally, Vaison-la-Romaine is inspired by its prestigious historical and natural heritage. The local soil reflects this variety: the sandy light soils produce more refined wines, while stony argilo-calcaireous soils produce complex and full bodied wines. The typically Mediterranean climate is moderated by the height in which part of our vineyards is planted and by the refreshing nearness of the Mount Ventoux. We also find in our wines a maturity of local fruits and spices, counterbalanced by a Northern freshness and acidity.

Tasting Notes: This wine offers a deep purple color. The nose is spicy and peppered, offering fruits and freshness. We recognize the robust and slightly tannic side of this soil. The mouth remains ample and generous, with excellent length on the tongue, due to its fine and melted tannins. Match with food: To be served at 15°C on red meats and cheese. Ageing: can be drunk early or kept 3 to 5 years. Soil: The plots of land arranged in large benches dominate the bed of the river Ouvèze. The clayey grounds allow the vineyard to reach a good maturity even during periods of drought.

A cuvée of great distinction. Match with food: To be served at 15°. Ideal with poultry or a beautiful assortment of cheeses. Ageing: To be drunk within 3 to 5 years. Soil: Our vineyards are mainly on the rocky argilocalcaireous slopes and terraces which are found in Séguret. Tasting Notes: Arises from the marriage of two main Southern grape varieties. The generous and exuberant Grenache brings mellowness and greedy fruits. The Syrah, variety of great character, brings, thanks to ageing in oak barrels, power and delicacy. The toasted, rich and subtle nose reveals complex aromas of ripe red berries, scents of cedar and soft spices. The round and full mouth, marrying delicacy and structure, confers a beautiful balance. Finale is long, deliciously chocolate and slightly roasted. Match with food: To be served at 14°C. Ideal on red and white meats, spicy dishes, Mediterranean specialties (moussaka, lamb tajine) and cheese. Ageing: will age for 5 years. Soil: This cuvée arises from our best soils, from vineyards with low yield (35 à 40 Hl/Ha). The meticulous selection is done with passion by Amélie who goes through the vineyard all year round and advises our wine growers. The wine, after a fermentation of 3 weeks in stainless tank with temperature regulated in 28 °C, and bi daily pumping, is racked in oak barrels of 2 wines where it stays 6 months, before being filtered and bottled.

Tasting Notes: This white wine, in a straw-colored dress with green tints possesses a complex nose on ripe fruits (apricots). The mouth is fresh and ample, with a beautiful peach tree flower finish. Match with food: To be served at 12°. Perfect as an appetizer, on fishes and sea foods. Goes well also with white meats. Ageing: To be drunk within 3 years. Soil: In Southern zone, Viognier is well adapted to the deep, but not too fertile grounds, to avoid the risks of drought. It is indeed a grape variety which hardly supports hydric stress. It is rather planted in well exposed and ventilated zones, but shielded from violent winds. Coolness and regular water supply allow a good maturation of the grapes. Its uneasy growing requires a permanent attention on behalf of the passionate wine growers who planted some plots of land.
