Grape: Riesling - best and most versatile white wine grape in the world. Demands moderate climate, a long ripening season and best vineyard sites. Existence since 1435 A.D. at least. Terroir: Loam and clay. Vineyards on top of the hills. Heavy soil with excellent absorptive capacity for rain water. Hilly vineyard area, mostly loam soil. Quality: Prädikatswein - Spätlese. Natural viticulture and vinification. Taste: Elegant and classical Riesling scent, paired with aromas of tropical fruits. Green apples and citrus, pineapple and melon.
